Southwestern offers a diverse range of degree programs with 38 bachelor’s degrees, 7 associate degrees, 6 masters degrees and 1 doctorate. Students at Southwestern can choose to study in the College of Arts and Sciences, which presents degrees in things like Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Art, Communication and Theatre. The College of Professional and Graduate Studies offers degrees in Kinesiology, Psychology, Engineering Technology, and Nursing, along with many others. The College of Pharmacy offers an intensive PharmD program, as well as a PharmD/MBA dual degree. The campus has a rich history with buildings dating back to the campus’s opening in 1901 and has been constantly progressing with new buildings like the Pioneer Cellular Event Center. The Wellness Center is SWOSU’s 72,000 square foot gymnasium boasting 3 basketball courts, a track, several weight-lifting areas, rooms for fitness classes, and a rock climbing wall. This is just one of the locations used for Southwestern’s intramural games. This campus has several different dining options including Duke’s Diner, the food court, the University Market, and the Bulldog Beanery.
SWOSU hosts a variety of organizations, activities, and events, so everyone can find their place in campus life. Southwestern is home to several different sororities and fraternities as well as clubs like the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Chemistry Club, the Organization of Student Athletic Trainers, and the SWOSU Quidditch Club.
